THE LIGHT

In the beginning was the light…….and that light was the truth of men who first breathed life in men’s inner most being. 

The light pierces men’s heart and illuminates their path. It is the sound of wisdom and the whisper of love. It is the anchor of hope and the strength in steadfastness. Without it,  the heart is swallowed up in despair. 

Behold, men have chosen to live without it, to wallow and stumble in the dark like a boat out at sea without a compass in aimless wander because men have deemed to know better than the source. It won’t be long before that light goes out as even amber would die if left un-fanned into flame or ignored. 

The torn curtain allowing men access to the light will inevitably face a “closing time”.   The stretched out arms of light’s mercy would be withdrawn soon to give way to the raised scepter of justice where no attorney could stand in men’s defense except the light, himself.  Men’s motives, decisions, and actions are weighed, exposed, and rightfully judged by the light. The bells and drums of warnings have been sounded throughout the universe by the light for its creation, but men have ignored and not understood it. We do not know the hour or the time except the light, but the end is near. Awake Sleeping Men! Awake! Light stands at your door. Today, if you hear His voice do not harden your heart.  Open it! Tomorrow is not promised. 

Revelation 3:20 KJV:” Behold I stand at the door and knock (at the door of your heart); if any man hear my voice, and open the door (of your heart), I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

2 Peter 3:10-14 KJV ¹⁰ But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.¹¹ Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, ¹² Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? ¹³ Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. ¹⁴ Wherefore, BELOVED, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
